SAIF International were awarded 30,000 MTS of Argentine rice02/01/2015 South American exporters had success in the Iraq Grain Board's 22 December white rice tender. SAIF International were awarded 30,000 MTS of Argentine rice at a price of US $675 PMT CIF Free Out. Shipment is required between 15 January and 13 February, for delivery between 14 February and 30 March.

Uruguayan exporters awarded by the IGB07/11/2014 Uruguayan exporters were awarded by the Iraq Grain Board(IGB), with Saif International securing 60,000 MTS at a price of US $661 PMT CIF; Uruguay were last awarded in June, when Saif sold 40,000 MTS at US $717 PMT CIF. The award has provided some much needed business for mills and is expected to support prices in the coming weeks.
